Gas Gas USA's Dale Malasek has been putting in some time on his new Gas Gas PRO 300, the first to reach the USA. Dale is so impressed he tells us he plans on riding it for the 2003 season.

Compared with the 280, the new 300's characteristics will favor riders looking for a lot of torque and power. This machine lugs way down low in the rev-range, but still revs out as high as the 280. The power comes on slower, which actually makes the machine easier to ride. For riders who prefer for the engine to do most of the work, and rely on the clutch less, this would be the ideal machine.
