Details are coming in on the 2004 Gas Gas Trials Models, and it's very exciting stuff! The PRO model will be in it's third year of production in 2004, and has evolved into the most sophisticated and polished Trials machine on the market. Gas Gas as a Company is developing at an astonishing rate. In 2002 the total machine production was at about 10,000 units. For 2004 it will be up around 16,000 units! This success is allowing for very large budgets to be dedicated to machine development, and it certainly shows on the 2004 models.
Gas Gas have been constantly developing the PRO, and it's success was demonstrated when Adam Raga totally dominated the 2003 World Indoor Series. Adam, Jordi Tarres, Marc Colomer and the factory technicians have responded to every input for the 2004 models, and they have developed possibly the best machine of all time. In fact, it may be the best machine for many years to come as well!
The 2004 280 & 300 PRO's now have a Marzocchi 40mm front fork. This fork provides superior suspension action, as well as greater rigidity, giving the '04 PRO a very solid feel. The new fork has been matched with a new rear shock, giving the machine perfect balance.
Many detail improvements refine this years machine. There are new clutch plates, new clutch cases, a new kickstarter made from aluminum, a new larger diameter front axle, new aluminum chain tensioner, new center box, modified silencer, new radiator and a new rear brake lever.
