How in blazes do I get melted pants goo off of the header pipe? And then, how can I keep it off?

To get melted goo off the pipe without ruining the plating, take a small piece of copper pipe and just scrape it off. The soft copper will not harm the plating. I'd get a guard for the pipe, I run one on my 370 and have had no problem for years, mine is aluminum with stainless steel screwclamps. Jon
