Barcelona, February 2nd -
The Gas Gas' rider Adam Raga adds this night the victory in the Barcelona Indoor Trial, fifth round in Indoor Series. The Spaniard repeated the win he achieved last season in the same scene, and also has recovered the leadership in outcome, with three points ahead of Dougie Lampkin, now second, who this night took the third place at the podium.
Raga obtained the best result in the qualification lap, with only 16 penalty points, while Dougie also passed to the final with 23 and Cabestany, after losing the two dual races against the final winner, Raga, with 25.
Graham Jarvis finished fourth and he had some options to get the final, but he lost the races versus Lampkin. Freixa and Fujinami finished fifth and sixth respectively.
In second lap, some of the sections were attempted in the reverse order like in the qualification. The fight between Raga, Cabestany and Lampkin became very close, but the Brit committed a big failure in one of the sections and lost almost all the possibilities for the win. Cabestany made an important fault at the high jump. Raga was the best again in the second lap, and arrived to the races with three points average over Cabestany.
The circuit at the Barcelona Indoor Trial presented 13 sections (11 observed hazards, with a high jump and two double lane races).
More than 12,000 crowd witnessed the Sant Jordi Arena to see the first visit of Indoor Series in Spain.
The coming round in championship will be held next saturday on February 8th with the Torino Indoor Trial.
