Aaron does it againwith wins in Oregon
Rounds 5 & 6, Oregon.

ERE Gas Gas star Geoff Aaron once again stamped his authority over the opposition with a pair of wins at Rounds 5 & 6 of the US outdoor series. Half way through the season, Geoff has taken 5 wins out of 6 starts, and now possesses a lead that would be difficult to overcome. The other main contenders for top honors, Ryon Bell and Wilson Craig had to post wins to put some pressure on Geoff, but both came up short. Bell, riding his Gas Gas Pro took second both days, while Craig racked up a 4th and a third.

The two days contrasted each other. Saturdays loop was long, and the sections quite severe. Geoff's winning score of 48 points was 4 better than Bell's. Third place went to Chris Florin, his best ever finish, but 21 points back from Bell. ERE Gas Gas's Wilson Craig was not having a good day, but still salvaged 4th on 78 points. David Chaves finished 5th on 84.5.

Sundays loop was shorter, and the sections much easier. It again became a game of concentration, with any mistakes proving very expensive. Geoff Aaron used all his experience and went through the 45 sections for just 9 points... another fantastic performance. Ryon Bell was just 3 points back with another great ride. Ryon must be analyzing the scores after all these events. Although he's lost a lot of ground in the series to Geoff, he's usually only a few points back. Third on the day, and in the series so far, was Wilson Craig on 15. Ray Peters took a fourth on 23, and Chris Florin was fifth on 29.

The top three on Sunday, and the top three in the series, were the usual suspects of Aaron, Bell and Craig. These three Gas Gas Pro pilots have now separated themselves from the rest of the riders.
